Asian Mom

Sometimes I laugh at myself on how Asian I am. Hannah school is having an easter egg hunt next week and each child was asked to bring dozen eggs. Walmart had 44 egss for $2, so went ahead and bought those. Since, we had so many extra eggs, I decided will practice egg hunting! ... now if I can just find my stop watch ... =P

Hannah looking for eggs in my flower garden. (I love these flowers. I planted them last year and they all came back!!)

Found one!!

Demon Eyes

... and you thought you knew Mike!

This is the view from our front door. Yes, we are still living in Dallas. It's been crazy weather. School has been closed since Tuesday because of ice and tonight, it's snowing like crazy.

These tracks were made at 12:30am by Mike. Why, you ask? To go dance in the snow? No. Because our shower started leaking and he had to go turn off the water to our house ... =(. We've already had a clogged kitchen sink, which turned out to be a broken pipe underneath our house (had that fixed), had our foundation fixed and then found out we have more partially broken pipes. Then this tonight. Sigh. Tough year for our house, great year for the plumber.

It could be worse - we could freeze to death in the cold. Mike and I have been watching, "I shouldn't be Alive" and last night it was about these mountain climbers who one survived but his friend froze to death. Yes, it could be worse.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Hannah showered me with many "Thank You!" and "Hug!" after I took her out of timeout. I have never seen her so grateful. Quite funny. I only put her in for like a minute or two. But that did the trick! She was very compliant and very grateful for her freedom!
