Tried pig tails. Mike says she looks very Asian. But Hannah doesn't like them. She pulls them off after 30 seconds.

Training for Mountain Climb

Hannah is quite a little climber these days. Video shows her whinning as she climbs up to our bed but she actually will do it over and over again. Promise, we're not forcing her to climb!

Hannah's Birthday

We actually celebrated Hannah's Birthday twice this year. Once when my family came into town during Labor day (picture above) and then again when we celebrated both Mike & Hannah's birthday with some friends.

I thought 1 candle looked so plain the first time, so I bought the "Happy Birthday" candle. ... I think it was overboard. Looks like she's turning 15 or something!

Wada Family Plus One

My whole family, including one boyfriend, came up for Labor Day weekend. We basically had a camp out at my house, with 10 adults and 1 child in a 1700 sq ft house. It was packed but fun. =)

Hannah's First Phone Call .. to 911

We went down to College Station to celebrate my Dad's birthday. When we were down there, Hannah made her first call to ... 9-1-1. Even though the cell phone was locked, she managed to call 9-1-1 on my sister's cell phone. When my sister looked down at the cell phone, it was dialing "emergency number". She tried to hang up but wasn't quick enough. 9-1-1 Operator called back and then a police officer showed up 5 minutes later. College Station Police is quite quick!

Hannah's New Friend

We were add the Disney store and Scully was buy 1 get 1 free. We couldn't resist. Now Hannah has Scully & Dumbo.

Daddy & Hannah Outing

Since, I had some church meeting I had to attend, Mike & Hannah went peach picking together and went on their first Daddy & Daughter outing.

Notice the step stool - we actually bought a step stool so that we could get the nice peaches on the top of the tree! The peaches were very yummy.

We went for our first haircut today. She actually did ok, didn't stay still too well but her hair stylist worked with it. ... Is it little too short?

5 Month's Highlights

Hannah has turned 6 months!

Here's some highlights from her 5 months (... this is more for me to remind myself, when she did stuff =p).

• Started eating baby foods. (Sweet Peas, Carrots, Green Beans, Sweet Potato, Pears. She liked everything except Carrots.)


• Sits up by herself ... well, kind of. She'll fall over after couple of minutes.


• Started enjoying Peek-a-Boo and loves to hear people sing.


• Threw up for the first time. =(

Spring in Texas!!

Spring has arrived in Texas!! (Even though, as I am writing this, it's 37F outside...)

Our Orient Pear tree was the first to bloom this year! Even though this tree seems small, it produced 34 pears last year! I was actually tricked into buying this tree. I thought "Orient" pear mean, "Asian" pear -- but it's more like a regular pear than an Asian pear. :( Oh, well. It atleast produces alot!

Buying Hannah's Outfit for $2!

A friend of mine (thanks ncli!) introduced me to this "Just between friends" consignment sale -http://www.jbfsale.com/home/. I went to one in Plano and it was pretty cool. They had rows and rows of children's clothing. They ranged from $1-$25. I have no idea how many kids some of these moms have but they were buying huge piles of clothes. They also had toys, bottles, some furniture and other random stuff.

I picked up 3 cute outfits for $2 each! I would recommend this for anyone looking for baby clothes. It's also neat if you want to sell your baby stuff too. All you have to bring it there and they will put a bar code on for you. They take 30% of what you sell but you don't have to be there to sell it and you get to set your own price. If it doesn't sell, you can pick it up or you can donate to charity. It definetly takes the hassle of hosting garage sale!

Just in 4 months ...

It is amazing how time has flown and how different Hannah looks now. I was looking through some old video. This is Hannah when she was less than 2 weeks, taken October 2, 2008.

This video was taken January 24, 2009. She doesn't even look the same!
